The Itinerary

Day 01 — Budapest

Welcome to Budapest. This quirky city holds one of the largest music festivals in Europe every year on its own small little island. We’ll start off by sipping a few welcome beers at a well renowned bar in the city. After a bit of meet and greet and an introduction on the crazy weeks to come, we’ll collect our bags and head into the Sziget Festival to check out our killer glamping spot. Called the ‘hotels of the campground’ we’ll have box spring beds, electricity, standing room, and hot showers! Opening night always brings lots of energy and big acts, this should be a good one to kick off with!

Day 02 — Thermal Baths

Hopefully we didn't get the first day festival curse and send it too large because we still have a lot to go! Today we'll have our private coach take us for a little R&R. The famous thermal baths of Budapest are not to disappoint. Over 100 years old these huge thermal baths will restore the life right back into you. After a day of soaking bones we'll get back into the festival grounds and into the music!

Day 03 — The Opening

This is the proper opening start to the festival as the weekend will bring alive the festival grounds. You'll find a few new stages staying open late (or all night) and new little pop ups. The grounds are constantly changing with life and things to do.

Day 04 — Something For Everyone

This festival has something for everyone. Arts and crafts, comedy shows, acrobatics, a beach area to chill, sporting events, you name it and it’s probably here. Find your niche and get amongst it.

Day 05 — Sziget Line-up

Last year on this day the festival hosted the likes of David Guetta, Muse, Manu Chao, Tinie Tempah, Sum 41, Bloc Party, and Zedd.

Day 06 — Festival Continues...

Hope you’re not getting too bent out of shape just yet! The good thing about this festival is that if you ever get tired of marching your feet into the ground there is so many alternative things to get lost in, so dive deep! Last year on this day M83 and Sia serenaded us into the night while Nicky Romero took us to the next level!

Day 07 — Last Day of Sziget

Last day on this glorious island of freedom! Expect them to bring out the big guns for this one... the end show is always a real spectacle. Give it all you've got in the final push!

Day 08 — Transit

Wake up. Water. Berocca. Food. Once we are all sorted we will board the bus for the airport and head straight down to Athens. It's a 2 hour flight so sit back and maybe a short nap is in order. After being in transit for half the day we will check-in and absolutely relax in this beautiful Athens hotel. Tonight we all deserve a few quite drinks on the roof-top bar looking over the Acropolis.

Day 09 — Lake Vouliagmeni

Greet the day with a soak in the healing waters of Lake Vouliagmeni. This natural wonder is said to alleviate a whole stack of ailments including headaches, so kick back and soak up the atmosphere. Once we’ve re-energized we’ll grab a kayak at the nearby river and drift our way into the late afternoon. A for Athens is on the hit list for tonight so we can party on the rooftop under the stars. ( B / D )

Day 10 — Acropolis

We didn’t come all this way to not brush up on a bit of history and the Acropolis is overflowing with the stuff. C’mon who doesn’t get off on gruesome gladiator stories or things like a three-bodied man-serpent sculptures? Once our heads are spinning with ancient sagas we’ll head to a Greek Taverna in Piraeus and experience live bouzouki music. ( B / D )

Day 11 — The Yacht Week Opening Party

We’ll then check out of our rooms and head to the Marina, where you will meet our ol’ faithful skipper and hostess. After boarding and checking into our Yachts, we’ll all head to the local stores to stock up on necessities. Bust out the captain hats and ray-bans it’s time to start poppin’ bottles because dinner and drinks will be followed by the Official Opening Party for Yacht Week. As the night progresses and everyone slips into party mode things will start to get interesting - after all it’s a well known fact that anything goes at Yacht week. ( B )

Day 17 — Yacht Week - Set Sail Pt 6

It’s been a wild ride and a hell of a lot of partying so we’ll find ourselves digging deep as the last night of the tour is always the wildest. Prepare to party with the young and the affluent with up to 50 Yachts from all corners of the globe congregating at the regatta to party, with everyone making most of the time they have left until they sail away (until next year!) Tonight is the Closing Party for Yacht Week!! I hope you can handle this.

Day 18 — Last Day

Ahoy sea shanties, sadly this is where we all move on in our travels. After unloading all our luggage from the yachts, we’ll say our goodbyes (sadly not only to our friends but we also have to bid adieu to those luxurious yachts...). Some of you may travel on with new friends exploring the rest of Europe (or solo for the adventurers), and others will return home, but as we’ll all float on... Smooth sailin’ friends.
